Our candle represents the Jewish icon, Andrew Gardflield. Also known as the man who plays spiderman in many films. Our candle represents this superhero. In 2012, Andrew got appointed to the role of spiderman and ever since has been worldly recognized. We picked Andrew Garfield because we thought that a spiderman candle holder would be an awesome theme and we could make a cool candle holder out of it! Andrew Garfield has been a Jewish icon for his whole career, making his Jewish heritage very clear. After Garfield played the Jewish-American composer Jonothan Larson in the hit movie Tick, Tick…Boom, it caused many fans to wonder if the actor was Jewish himself. It was discovered that his original surname was Garfinkel. We thought that although the superhero himself is pretty awesome, we also wanted to commemorate the person who played him.
